Montessori integrated Kindergarten and Pre-Kinder

Our kinder program sparks curiosity through hands-on learning. Children become confident, independent and ready for the next step, with skills that support them at school and beyond.

Nurturing your child's full potential

Our curriculum incorporates the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), with a strong emphasis on foundational reading, writing and numeracy, so every child has a smooth and successful transition to school.

We run government-approved 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs at both campuses. They are delivered by qualified early childhood teachers and integrated into our full-day Montessori program.

We recognise and respect each child's unique capabilities and interests, and we empower them to learn and develop at their own pace.

Integrated, not sessional

Kinder that fits a working family's day

Sessional kinder runs for fixed, shorter hours. Our integrated program runs inside long day care, open 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, so learning continues through the day in one consistent environment.

  • Individualised learning: children choose activities that spark their interest, which builds self-motivation
  • Concentration and discipline: a structured yet flexible environment that cultivates focus from an early age
  • Practical life skills: coordination, concentration, independence and a sense of order
  • Sensory exploration: materials that sharpen the senses and lead to a clearer understanding of the world
  • A love of learning: an intrinsic joy in discovery that lasts a lifetime
  • School readiness: early literacy and numeracy, and a school transition program for every child

Beyond the classroom

Bush Kinder, excursions and incursions

Taking part in Bush Kinder and spending ample time outdoors significantly enhances children's development. Out in nature, children explore, take measured risks and build resilience together.

  • Bush Kinder sessions in the natural environment
  • Fortnightly excursions into the community
  • Monthly incursions, from visiting animals to special guests
  • Sustainability woven into the curriculum, including our own garden beds

Kindergarten questions

Do you offer government-funded kindergarten?

Yes. We run government-approved 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs at both campuses, delivered by qualified early childhood teachers and integrated into our full-day Montessori program.

How is Montessori integrated kindergarten different from a play-based kinder program?

Our kindergarten places an emphasis on independence. Children take initiative in their learning and engage collaboratively, while teachers observe and guide each child, providing support and encouragement as they progress at their own pace.

What is the difference between sessional and integrated kinder?

Integrated kinder runs within our long day care setting, offering continuous learning throughout the day. Sessional kinder has fixed, shorter hours. The integrated approach gives families flexibility and children a consistent environment.

How do you assess a child's progress?

Rather than formal tests or grades, teachers use observation to understand each child's needs, documenting progress in academic, social and practical skills.

How many excursions and incursions are there?

We offer fortnightly excursions and monthly incursions, in addition to our Bush Kinder program.
