Music class is an integral component of our Montessori curriculum. Our music teachers, such as Natalya and Kate, have observed that children are inherently responsive to and capable of creating music, much like their innate ability to acquire language. Within the age range of two to five years old, children exhibit a natural affinity for engaging with music and movement, displaying enthusiasm for singing, dancing, exploring sound sources, listening, and unleashing their creativity.
During this developmental stage, children undergo significant advances in various areas. Music education emerges as a powerful tool in supporting these advancements, aiding children in the establishment of crucial physical and socio-emotional skills. Moreover, it serves as a catalyst for lifelong learning, contributing to improvements in literacy and language proficiency while laying the groundwork for musical competence.
