What ages do you cater for at Wyndham Vale Montessori?

We welcome children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age across both our Buffalo and Ballan campuses. Our programs are tailored to each developmental stage, following authentic Montessori philosophy.

What makes Montessori education unique?

The Montessori method is founded on the idea that children learn best when they are free to explore and learn at their own pace in an environment specifically prepared to support their development. Children are encouraged to be self-directed learners, with the teacher serving as a guide in a supportive environment that fosters creativity, independence, and a love of learning.

Do you offer government-funded kindergarten programs?

Yes, Wyndham Vale Montessori Centre runs government-approved 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs. These are delivered by qualified Early Childhood Teachers and integrated into our full-day Montessori program.

What’s included in your daily fee?

Our centre is approved for fee subsidies such as CCS, ACCS, and our daily fee structure covers your child’s Montessori program, nutritious meals, and essential care items. For specific fee information and what’s included, please contact your preferred campus directly.

How does the Child Care Subsidy work?

Our programs qualify for the Federal Government’s Child Care Subsidy. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps eligible families access approved and registered child care providers by partially subsidising the cost of daily fees. Your subsidy depends on household income and activity levels.

Who will be working with my child?

Our educators are qualified, experienced, and passionate about Montessori education. Each classroom is led by educators trained in the Montessori method, with Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers overseeing our kindergarten programs. All staff hold Working with Children Checks and maintain ongoing professional development.

What are your operating hours?

Both campuses operate 6:30am – 6:30pm Monday to Friday, providing flexible care for working families. We’re open 52 weeks per year, excluding public holidays.
